System Overview

The MotionEye product is an indoor CCTV camera with motion-detection feature, designed for applications where video verification of intrusion alarms is necessary or desired. It consists of a full HD pinhole camera and a passive infrared sensor, allowing invisible video monitoring to provide video evidence. When the passive infrared sensor is triggered, it transmits an alarm signal to a DVR over coax (along with video signal) - most Dahua Technology and X-Security DVRs / XVRs supported.

Functions

Covert Surveillance
The camera has a cone-shaped pinhole lens which is hidden in the PIR case.

Wide Detection Range
Designed with Fresnel lens, the PIR of MotionEye camera is able to cover a wide monitoring range with horizontal angle of view up to 100° within a distance from 1m to 12m.

Accurate Alarm
The detection accuracy is well guaranteed with dual sensor technology, which determines intrusion based on both temperature and displacement. It automatically filters false alarms, triggered e.g. by a pet. The sensitivity of the alarm is adjustable.

Long Distance Transmission
HDCVI technology guarantees real-time transmission at long distance without any loss. It supports up to 800m transmission via coaxial cable, and up to 300m via UTP cable*. Optimised for HD-CVI the camera can also be switched into HD-TVI, AHD and CVBS, either with a HD DVR / XVR or UTC Controller item number 069UTC2.

Tamper-proof Design
The device is designed with a built-in tamper switch to prevent itself from malicious damage / tampering. Once the case is damaged and the tamper switch is triggered, alarm info will be uploaded immediately to the DVR / XVR.

Protection
With working temperature range of -10 °C to +50 °C (14 °F to +122 °F), the camera is designed for various temperature environments. Supporting ±25% input voltage tolerance, this camera suits even the most unstable power supply conditions. Its 4KV lightning rating provides protection against the camera and its structure from the effects of lightning.
