General Terms and Conditions
Placement of an order
When you place your order you are doing so in acceptance of these terms and conditions and it is important that you have read them before you go ahead and order.
When you as a customer place an order via this website, you warrant by placing the order that:
1. You are not a minor or otherwise legally incapable of entering into a binding contract.
2. The personal details which you give us on registration are fully complete and accurate.
3. You are not using a false name or the name of any other person or body which you are not authorised to use.
Contract Conclusion / Liability
All items offered on our website or other publications are subject to availability. To purchase any of the items, you can do so through our Online Shop by clicking the 'Add to Basket' button shown on each product page or by placing a purchase order via mail or ordinary post. By clicking the button "Order Now" or submitting a purchase order you will place an order with us. We will send you an email/letter confirming the receipt of your order and the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product or a range of products which is accepted by us when we send you a confirmation by email/letter that we have accepted your order or when we have dispatched the order to you. A binding contract is established when we have accepted your purchase offer e.g. by dispatching your order.
Payment
All invoices issued by us to the customer are payable upon receipt of the invoice.
As an exception a credit terms may be agreed with the customer solely on our decision and will not exceed net 30 days of issue of the invoice.
Consequences of late payments: In case of late payment we are entitled for a late payment fee of 1.3%, but a minimum of EUR 7.00, of the total invoice amount or any outstanding amounts, for each 30 days overdue until the invoice is settled.
Retention of Title
All products remain the property of CCTVDI until full payment has been received.
Title to the products passes to you when risk passes below, unless the price or any other amount payable by you is outstanding at delivery, in which case title is retained by us until you have paid in full the price and all other amounts payable under the contract. You agree that we may still sue for the price, notwithstanding that title has not passed. You also agree that your right to possession and use of the products shall cease if any amount payable by you under the contract becomes overdue, or you enter into bankruptcy, liquidation or administration, and that we shall be entitled to enter any premises where the products are kept for the purposes of repossessing them. Title to the products shall revert to us when you exercise any right to reject the products, cancel the contract or otherwise return the products to us.
Risk
Risk in the products shall pass to you when they come into your physical possession, or any person identified by you to take possession of the products, or any carrier you commissioned to collect the products from us and transport them to you, or our courier service hand over the products to any person who you authorise to collect them from a postal or courier service, or we leave the products at a place or with a person in accordance with any express delivery instructions received from you. RRisk in any returned products shall revert to us when they come back into our physical possession, or any person identified by us to take possession of the returned products, or any carrier commissioned by us collect the products from you and transport them back to us.
Data protection / data loss
The customer is obliged to take appropriate precautions against the loss of data. This comprises, in particular, reasonable and comprehensive data protection based on appropriate technology in order to protect himself against the loss of data.
In no event or circumstance we will be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever resulting from data loss or profit loss arising from, or in connection with the use of products supplied by us.
Cancelling an order
You changed your mind or ordered by mistake? No problem - you are free to cancel your order anytime until we have sent it out. You will receive a full refund against the original method of payment. If we already have sent out the order please see our "Returns Policy". Excluded are orders made to customers specifications. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of your order cancellation as required by law.
Returns Policy
You have the right to cancel your order within 30 (thirty) days of delivery (starting the day after you have received the goods) and return them for a full refund. This will apply to your order unless you ordered goods made to your own specification, perishable goods or goods that by their nature cannot be returned. Video, DVD, audio or Software Products (excluding downloads) can only be returned sealed and when they haven't been unsealed. Should you cancel the whole contract or whole order we will then refund you the price you have paid for the goods incl. any shipping costs in full when you return the full order. Should you cancel a part of the contract or a part of the order we will then refund you the price you have paid for the goods you are returning excluding any shipping costs when you are returning a part of the order.

It is your responsibility to ensure your notice of cancellation is reaching us in time!
Please do not send in any goods without obtaining prior written instructions from us how to send the goods.
We will make sure to organise the return as convenient as possible for you.
Returns are accepted if products are unused, unaltered, unwashed, and not otherwise manipulated. The goods must be returned in saleable condition and original packaging! You have the right to examine the goods in a manner an ordinary shop visit would allow. All damaging to the goods / original boxing or obvious use of the goods or missing parts / accessories may make you liable for compensation.
A refund for qualifying returns will be issued to your original method of payment within 14 days after we have received your return - as required by law.
Limited Warranty
All of our products are coming with a 24 months standard limited warranty unless otherwise stated - please refer to the product description. All alterations or modifications of the product by the customer or opening of the housing of the product by the customer will void the warranty! Warranty is provided on the terms of "Return to base" only, no advance replacement will be provided - unless otherwise agreed. Warranty is limited to faults occurring as a result of production faults. The warranty explicitly does not cover normal wear and tear, faults and failures caused by improper handling, operating errors and also does not cover faults and failures caused by force majeure.
All alterations or modifications of the product by the customer or opening of the housing of the product by the customer will void the warranty! All repairs must be carried out by a qualified technicians.

Statutory Rights
These Terms and Conditions do not affect any of your statutory rights.
Special Terms and conditions for Wireless Products
It is the customer's responsibility to comply with local regulations when operating wireless products.
CCTVDI is not responsible and does not take any liability if wireless products are not licensed to be operated in certain countries or local communities or areas.
Information about performances and transmission ranges are maximum values only and has been reached in ideal conditions as specified by the manufacturer.
CCTVDI makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website/publication or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website/publication for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.
Severance
If any of these terms and conditions shall prove to be void, unlawful, or unenforceable for any reason then that term or condition shall be considered severed from the remaining terms and conditions which shall remain valid and enforceable.
Waste management and WEEE Recycling
WEEE Recycling
FREE RECYCLING WASTE MANAGEMENT ACT 1996 Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge either by bringing it to our store or sending it in to our warehouse on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis. Waste batteries including rechargeable batteries are taken back free of charge. You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries to us. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities. All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods and batteries.
